Kinner Kailash is situated in the heart of the most mythical abodes of Lord Shiva with 79 feet vertical rock located at a height of more than 15,000ft. Shivaling changes colours during the course of day. As per mythology, Lord Shiva used conduct meeting with Gods and Goddesses here at Kinner Kailash. Jorkanden (21,237 ft).

Trek starts from a beautiful village called Tangling, situated on the left bank of Satluj river. It takes 6 days to complete. The trail is steep towards the Ashiqui Park. This was the place for the meeting of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati according to Hindu Mythology. Which is locally known as Aashiqui park After crossing Ashiqui Park, you will reach Gufa and then to Parvati Kund which is located just below the Kinner Kailash Shivaling.

Along the trail, you will come across wildflowers and Brahmakamal. Watch out for the boulders and rocky terrain and steep trails. The steep trail from Parvati Kund will take you to the top in front of the mighty Kinner Kailash Shivalingam. After a tiring journey, your mental tiredness will be gone as you witness the gorgeous 79 ft vertical Shivalingam. Watch the jaw dropping Mt Kinner Kailash (19,849ft) from this point.

Kalpa, Reckong Peo and adjacent peaks of Lahaul and Spiti can be seen including Reo Purgyil and Leo Purgyil, both of them are highest peaks of Himachal Pradesh. You will be surprised by the views and if you are lucky you can witness the yellow beak alpine bird known as Alpine Chough over the Shivlingam.
