How to Reach 

Nearest Airport: Bhuntar Airport (IATA code KUU) is the closest airport, located 50 kilometers from Manali on NH21. Air India flies to the airport on a regular basis from New Delhi.

Helicopter taxi service: Manali is connected to Chandigarh, Kullu, and Dharamshala by a heli-taxi service provided by Pawan Hans, a government of India charter agency.

Nearest Railway Station: There are no rail stations in close proximity to Manali. Kiratpur Sahib is 268 kilometers away, Kalka is 275 kilometers away, and Chandigarh is 310 kilometers away.

By Road: From Delhi, Manali may be reached through Ambala, Chandigarh, Bilaspur, Mandi, and Kullu. The distance between Delhi and Manali is 570 kilometers. On this route, luxury buses, notably semi-sleeper Volvos, usually run overnight. On the Delhi-Manali route, HRTC Himachal Road Transport Corporation and private operators run daily Volvo buses. To get to Manali, one can take a taxi from Delhi.

Day 01 Arrival in Manali and Drive to Changut

* Trekkers will be picked from Manali
* Drive through scenic valleys, mountains and villages
*Arrive in Changut, check in & freshen up
* Tea with Briefing/Orientation
* Overnight stay

Day 02 Chnagut to Yolithang via Shukto

* After breakfast, drive to Shukto

* Altitude : 12,300 ft

* Trek 10 km, 8 hours

*Cross Miyar nallah on a wooden bridge.

* After reaching Shukto, start trek to Yolithang

* Cross streams, walk through vast meadows and enjoy the valley views and Tharang peak.

* Overnight stay in Yolithang, followed by dinner

Day 03 Yolithang to Zardung

* Wake up & breakfast

* Altitude : 12,800 ft.

* Trek 10 km, 8-9 hours

* Start descend to vast grassland

* Explore rock pyramid and pass to Darcha

*Walk through boulders and enjoy scenic surroundings

* Overnight stay in camps

 Includes: Breakfast, Guide, packed lunch, Dinner and Stay.

Day 04 Zardung to Kesar Yon Chhaap

* Altitude : 13,100 ft.

* Trek 10 km, 7-8 hours

* Start trek to Miyar river source, surrounded by stunning scenery, via crossing cold and wide streams

* Explore the campsite’s 7 emerald green lakes and discover the lakes’ serene beauty

* Overnight stay in camps Includes: Breakfast, Guide, packed lunch, Dinner and Stay.

Day 05 Rest and acclimatisation at Kesar Yon Chaap

* Rest day at Kesar Yon Chhaap for acclimatization, preparing for tomorrow’s Miyar
glacier adventure, relaxing amidst breathtaking high altitude scenery

Breakfast, packed lunch, Dinner and Stay.

Day 06 Kesar Yon Chaap to Miyar Glacier Camp (14,600 ft) - 12 km

* Altitude : 14,600 ft.
* Trek 12 km, 9-10 hours

* The trek becomes tougher with changing landscapes to moraine and scree
* Climb up lateral moraine, walk on grassy slopes with wildflowers.
* Descend to Jungpada glacier, surrounded by massive ice covered rock-cliffs
* Climb through scree and moraines to reach Miyar glacier

* Overnight stay in camps

Includes:
Breakfast, Guide, packed lunch, Dinner and Stay.

Day 07 Miyar Glacier Camp to Kang La Base Camp

* Altitude : 15,700 ft.
* Trek 9 km, 6-7 hours

* Easy walk up the Miyar glacier with gradual gradient

* Trek through middle of the glacier and breathtaking views throughout the day

* Overnight stay in camps

Breakfast, Guide, packed lunch, Dinner and Stay.

Day 08 Kang La Base Camp to Temasa Tongpo via Kang La

* Kang La Altitude : 18,045 ft.

* Temasa Tongpo Altitude : 14,500 ft.

* Climb along the glacier’s left side to the confluence of two glaciers

* Beautiful views of Zanskar’s rock peaks from the pass

* Descend along the heavily crevassed glacier and reach the confluence of two valleys

* Overnight stay in camps

Includes: Breakfast, Guide, packed lunch, Dinner and Stay.

Day 09 Temasa Tongpo to Padam

* Padam Altitude : 11,800 ft.

* Trek 15 km, 7-8 hours

* Descend along Temasa Nallah to the roadhead near Padam

* Drive to Padam

*Arrive in Padam, the largest village in Zanskar valley

* Overnight stay

Includes:
Breakfast, Guide, packed lunch, Dinner and Stay.

Day 10 Padam to Leh

* After breakfast, proceed to Leh

* Scenic route through the Zanskar and Ladakh regions

* Enjoy the stunning landscapes and rugged terrains

* Arrive in Leh, the capital city of Ladakh

* Overnight stay

 Includes: Breakfast, Taxi, Dinner and Stay

Day 11 Departure Day

* Drop to Leh airport

* Start early in the morning

* Services end here.

* Fly back home with lots of sweet memories.
