Overview
The Kedarnath Yatra is one of the most revered and spiritually significant pilgrimages in India.
Situated in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand, Kedarnath Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva
and is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas—the holiest Shiva shrines. The temple is also one of the four
major sites in the Chota Char Dham Yatra of Uttarakhand, which includes Yamunotri, Gangotri,
Kedarnath, and Badrinath.
Perched at an altitude of 3,583 meters (11,755 ft) in the lap of the Garhwal Himalayas, the
Kedarnath Temple is surrounded by majestic snow-capped peaks and the serene Mandakini River.
The journey is not just a trek or tour—it’s a spiritual awakening through the raw, divine energy of
the Himalayas.
The Kedarnath trek is both physically demanding and spiritually rewarding. The path is filled with
views—lush greenery, waterfalls, chirping birds, and snow-capped peaks.

Day 01
Arrive Haridwar
* Pickup, 5:30AM
* Transfer to Gupatkashi
* Devprayag darshan from viewpoint and Dharidevi Temple (on the way)
* Check-in room
* Dinner and Overnight Stay

Day 02
Gupatkashi to Gaurikund
* After the breakfast, drive to Gaurikund, 2 hrs
* Gaurikund to Kedarnath Trek 20 km, 5-6 hrs
* Check in, freshen up & rest
* In evening, visit to the Kedarnath temple and experience the divine Aarti
*After seeking blessings and perform Pooja, return back to the stay
* Dinner and overnight Stay

Day 03
Kedarnath to Gauri kund, downhill trek (20 km), Transfer to sari Village
* Downhill trek to Gauri Kund 20 km, 5-6 hrs
* Drive to Sari village
* Check in, freshen up & rest
* Overnight stay, followed by dinner

I went for an ice climbing course to Spiti valley with their team. This is supposed to be one of the toughest courses at high altitude areas. In chilling temperatures of minus 28 degrees, tough climbs at high altitudes as well as scaling the whole waterfall, Vishal Thakur was an absolute epitome of leadership and technical expertise. He believed in me more than I did in myself. The course was an absolute success! I will definitely be coming back for the advanced course! Everything from the logistics to the stay to the food and the teaching was managed impeccably. As a special mention, I want to thank Ms. Kalpana as well who was coordinating with me throughout the journey and made sure she was available even in the wee hours of the morning without a single complaint. The whole team clearly works for a common purpose.
