This 6-day itinerary offers a focused and structured journey through the majestic Kashmir Valley, strategically moving between the main scenic resorts for maximum exploration time. The trip starts in Srinagar (Day 1) with an essential immersion into the region’s cultural heart, featuring tours of the beautiful Mughal Gardens and a serene, traditional Shikara ride on Dal Lake, with the first night spent on a tranquil houseboat. The following two days involve transfers and overnight stays in the famous valleys, ensuring a comprehensive experience. Day two leads to Pahalgam, the ‘Valley of Shepherds,’ where you explore ancient ruins and scenic temples before resting by the Lidder River.
Day three takes you further to Gulmarg, the ‘Meadow of Flowers,’ where the main attraction is the exhilarating Gondola ride, offering Asia’s highest and longest cable car views of the surrounding peaks. The itinerary loops back to Srinagar (Day 4) via the high-perched Shankaracharya Temple, using the capital as a base for the final excursions. Day five is a full-day trip to Sonmarg, the ‘Meadow of Gold,’ renowned for its picturesque drive and access to the snowy Thajiwas Glacier. Day 01
Arrival in Srinagar & Lake Charm
* Arrive at Srinagar Airport (SXR); meet and transfer to your designated accommodation.
* After settling in, visit the famous Mughal Gardens: Chashm-e-Shahi, Nishat Bagh, and Shalimar Bagh.
* Enjoy a tranquil one-hour Shikara ride on Dal Lake (per stay)
* Return to your Houseboat for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 02
Transfer to Pahalgam
* After breakfast, check out and drive to Pahalgam, located at the
foothills of the Himalayas.
* Check into your hotel upon arrival.
* Sightseeing includes the ancient Avantipura Ruins and the sacred Mattan Temple.
* Hire a pony ride to visit Mamaleshwara Temple, situated opposite
the Lidder River (at own cost)
* Overnight stay in Pahalgam

Day 03
Pahalgam to Gulmarg
* After breakfast, check out and proceed on a scenic drive to Gulmarg.
* Check into your hotel and relax.
* Proceed to ride the Gondola, Asia's highest and longest cable car (stages
can be purchased and ridden independently).
* Explore the high-altitude Golf Course.
* Overnight stay in Gulmarg.

Day 04
Gulmarg to Srinagar
* After breakfast, check out and drive back to Srinagar.
* Visit the revered Shankaracharya Temple, located atop a hill, offering panoramic city views.

* Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 05
Sonmarg Day Excursion
* After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Sonmarg ('Meadow of Gold').
* Enjoy the beautiful drive, often stopping at picturesque spots en route.
* Ride a horse/pony to the Thajiwas Glacier area, where snow is often visible year-round.
* Sonmarg is known as the "Gateway of Ladakh."
* Return to Srinagar for overnight stay.

Departure Day
* Breakfast, check out from the Srinagar hotel.
* Transfer by representative to Srinagar Airport (SXR) for your onward journey, carrying cherished memories.

I went for an ice climbing course to Spiti valley with their team. This is supposed to be one of the toughest courses at high altitude areas. In chilling temperatures of minus 28 degrees, tough climbs at high altitudes as well as scaling the whole waterfall, Vishal Thakur was an absolute epitome of leadership and technical expertise. He believed in me more than I did in myself. The course was an absolute success! I will definitely be coming back for the advanced course! Everything from the logistics to the stay to the food and the teaching was managed impeccably. As a special mention, I want to thank Ms. Kalpana as well who was coordinating with me throughout the journey and made sure she was available even in the wee hours of the morning without a single complaint. The whole team clearly works for a common purpose.
