Spiti Valley is one of the most picturesque destinations in the entire Himalayas. The word
Spiti means ‘Middle Land’, the land between Tibet and India. Travelers love the remoteness
& treacherous roads of Spiti. Spiti Valley Bike Trip is India’s most demandable trip for
every motorbike lover.
Spiti is a cold desert mountain valley and is approachable from both Shimla & Manali sides.
Riding motorbikes through the toughest roads is a lifetime experience. The trip starts from
Delhi and you’ll ride through Shoja, Sangla, Nako to Spiti valley. You will explore the ancient
monasteries, highest post office in the world, high altitude villages and get to experience
the real blend of Buddhism and Tibetan culture. You’ll witness the serene ‘Chandratal Lake’,
one of the gems of Lahaul & Spiti. Tourists from outside India must obtain inner line permits
in order to visit Spiti.

SPITI VALLEY BIKE TRIP ROUTE

Delhi – Manali – Sangla – Chitkul – Tabo – Kaza – Chandra Tal – Manali –Delhi
This will be the entire Spiti Circuit that we will be covering in 9 days.

HOW TO REACH

By Flight: The nearest airport to Delhi is Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) and it is well
connected to major cities in India like Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Gujarat, Kochi,
Hyderabad, Kolkata etc. Direct flights are available which easily covers this distance in less time.

By Train: Delhi is well connected by rail network with other cities in India. Hazrat Nizamuddin is
the main railway station in Delhi followed by New Delhi Railway Station and Sarai Rohilla. Regular
trains from cities like Agra, Dehradun, Mumbai, Jaipur, Pune, Chennai, Kerala, Bangalore etc. are
available to Delhi.

By Bus: Delhi can easily be reached by bus from nearby cities like Agra, Jaipur, Dehradun,
Udaipur, etc. Both local and private buses are available which connect the capital city with other
cities in India.

Tour Plan

Day 01 Delhi to Manali | Overnight Volvo

* Meet & Greet with team and fellow travelers
*Arrive at Delhi Volvo station at 4:00 PM
* Board overnight semi-sleeper AC Volvo from Delhi

Day 02 Arrive in Manali and ride to Shoja

*Arrival at Manali in morning and directly go to our garage for bikes
* Check bikes & load your luggage in backup Jeep and start riding from Manali to Jibhi/Shoja
* You will get scenic views of Banjar valley and you will be compelled to take photo stops
for the next few kilometers.
* Overnight stay and followed by dinner

Day 03 Jibhi/Rampur/Sangla | 250 km, 8 hrs

* Wake up & Breakfast
*Start riding from Shoja to Sangla over Jalori Pass (3223 mtr)
* Jalori Pass, situated on a ridge across the Rampur valley.
* Sangla is a beautiful village located in the backdrop of the Kinner Kailash Mountain Range
* On arrival, check in and freshen up.
* In the evening, you can walk around the Sangla village
* Dinner & overnight stay

Day 04 Sangla/Nako//Tabo | 180 km, 7 hrs

* Breakfast & ride towards Nako

Day 05 Tabo/Dhankar/Pin Valley | 70 km, 6 hrs

* Wake up early morning, breakfast & proceed the journey
* Geu Monastery: naturally preserved Mummy of a monk
* Tabo: 1,000-year-old monastery
* Dhankar monastery
* Ride to the pin valley, Check in
* Rest of the day free to visit the beautiful village of Pin valley
* Dinner & overnight stay

Day 6 Pin Valley/Kaza | Visit Hikkim, Komic, Langza, Key

* Wake up and breakfast, start ride to Kaza
* Hikkim: collect & send postcards from the world’s highest post office.
* Komic: world’s highest village connected by motorable roads
* Langza: Fossil village with a breath-taking landscape of a massive Buddha statue.
* Key monastery: iconic monastery of Spiti
* Have Dinner and overnight stay in Kaza

Day 07 Kaza to Chandratal Lake | Visit Ki & Chandertal lake

* Breakfast and proceed to your next destination
* Ki Monastery: Morning visit to Ki monastery, 12 km from Kaza. This ancient
monastery is a spiritual hub for the Spiti region, housing a vibrant community
of monks and preserving cultural heritage.
* Kunzum pass: 4,551 meters | 14,391 feet
* Chandratal Lake: Moon Lake & source of Chandra river
* Check-in camps, followed by dinner

Day 08 Chandratal Lake to Manali

* Breakfast, bike ride to Manali
* On the way sightseeing Batal, Chhatru, Atal Tunnel

Day 09 Arrival in Delhi

* Arrive back in Delhi with unforgettable memories
