Welcome to the five abodes of Lord Shiva!!

There is Kailash, and then there are the five Kailash sacred peaks scattered across the Himalayas, each believed to be a seat of Lord Shiva himself. The Panch Kailash Yatra is a pilgrimage for the truly devoted, a journey across five of the most revered and remote Shiva shrines in the mountains: Mount Kailash in Tibet, Adi Kailash, Kinnaur Kailash, Shrikhand Mahadev, and Manimahesh Kailash. Together, they form a spiritual circuit unlike any other on Earth.

You must be wondering what draws pilgrims to undertake not one, but five sacred climbs. Imagine standing before the Om-shaped snow pattern of Adi Kailash, or gazing up at the towering Shivling atop Shrikhand Mahadev, each peak carrying its own legend, its own test of faith and endurance. This isn't a single pilgrimage it's five, each one deepening the devotion of the last.

Our Panch Kailash yatra are designed for devotees who seek not just darshan, but transformation carefully planned routes, proper acclimatization across varying altitudes, and guidance rooted in respect for the sanctity of each shrine. This yatra demands both physical resilience and unwavering faith, and rewards both in equal measure.

Come walk the path that connects five sacred mountains and, perhaps, five parts of yourself.

This was truly the best trip of my life! Spiti is magical in itself, but the way this Heaven Riders planned and executed everything made it even more special and unforgettable. From the breathtaking landscapes to the smooth coordination, everything was perfectly managed. A special thanks to Vishal ji for his constant support throughout the journey. He made sure we were comfortable, safe, and enjoying every moment. What I really appreciated was that he didn’t just stick to the itinerary — he also showed us extra places that weren’t even mentioned, which made the experience even more memorable. Every small detail was taken care of, and the entire trip felt well-organized and stress-free. I created memories for a lifetime. Highly recommended to anyone planning a Spiti trip — you can trust them completely for an amazing experience! 🌄✨ Looking forward to many more trips together in the future😊

I don't post reviews at all but for this I had to. Thanks to heaven riders, I managed to complete one of the most difficult courses in high altitude mountaineering. This would not have been possible without the brilliance of our mentor Mr. Vishal Thakur. Under his leadership and guidance, the whole week was packed with adventures and learnings. I would also like to thank Ms. Kalpana, who made all the ends meet with her patience and constant coordination with us. Everything was handled very seamlessly. Heavenridersindia team is indeed very professional. Thank you so much 🙏🏻

I have no words to express my gratitude to Mr. Vishal Thakur and his team. I went for an ice climbing course to Spiti valley with their team. This is supposed to be one of the toughest courses at high altitude areas. In chilling temperatures of minus 28 degrees, tough climbs at high altitudes as well as scaling the whole waterfall, Vishal Thakur was an absolute epitome of leadership and technical expertise. He believed in me more than I did in myself. The course was an absolute success! I will definitely be coming back for the advanced course! Everything from the logistics to the stay to the food and the teaching was managed impeccably. As a special mention, I want to thank Ms. Kalpana as well who was coordinating with me throughout the journey and made sure she was available even in the wee hours of the morning without a single complaint. The whole team clearly works for a common purpose.

    FAQs

The Panch Kailash Yatra is one of the most sacred pilgrimages in Hinduism, involving visits to five holy peaks revered as the divine abodes of Lord Shiva. The five peaks are: Mount Kailash (Tibet), Adi Kailash (Uttarakhand), Kinnaur Kailash (Himachal Pradesh), Shrikhand Mahadev Kailash (Himachal Pradesh), and Manimahesh Kailash (Himachal Pradesh). Completing this yatra is believed to be spiritually equivalent to attaining moksha (liberation) and is considered as sacred as the Char Dham Yatra.

According to Hindu scriptures, Lord Shiva is believed to reside in the Himalayas, and each of the five Kailash peaks is considered his divine residence. Undertaking the Panch Kailash Yatra is believed to:

    • Purify the soul and remove accumulated sins
    • Grant divine blessings, peace, and liberation (moksha)
    • Be spiritually equivalent to visiting the original Mount Kailash in Tibet
    • Bring prosperity and fulfil devotees’ deepest wishes

Shrikhand Mahadev is widely regarded as the most difficult trek in the entire Panch Kailash circuit. At 5,155 metres altitude, the route involves steep ascents, glacier crossings, unpredictable weather, and limited facilities. It is recommended only for experienced trekkers with excellent physical fitness. The Kailash Mansarovar Parikrama — a 52 km circuit around Mount Kailash crossing Dolma La Pass at 5,630 m — is also extremely demanding.

Adi Kailash (Chhota Kailash) is the recommended starting point for first-time pilgrims. Much of the route is now accessible by road, making it suitable for beginners and senior citizens with basic fitness levels. Manimahesh Kailash is another popular choice for first-timers, offering a moderate trek combined with high spiritual significance. Both provide a deeply fulfilling experience without the extreme difficulty of Shrikhand Mahadev or the complex permit requirements of Mount Kailash.

The Kailash Parikrama — also known as the Kora or Pradakshina — is the sacred circumambulation of Mount Kailash. The full circuit is approximately 52 km and is traditionally completed over three days, passing through Dirapuk and Zuthulpuk and crossing the high Dolma La Pass at 5,630 m. Completing one Parikrama is believed to wash away the sins of one lifetime. Completing 108 Parikramas is said to bring liberation (moksha). It is revered by Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, and Bon followers alike.
