The journey begins with an immediate and long scenic transfer (Day 1) from Srinagar Airport, winding over the formidable Razdan Pass to reach the main village of Dawar in Gurez. This travel-heavy start is immediately rewarded with two full days dedicated to experiencing the untouched beauty of the valley. Day two allows for immersion in the heart of Gurez, featuring views of the iconic, pyramid-shaped Habba Khatoon Peak and time spent by the Kishanganga River.
